Workshop Details

Learner Objectives

  • Update Educational and Early Intervention (EI) professionals on 21st Century hearing technology
  • Review the impact of a young child’ intervention age on outcomes with hearing aids and cochlear implants
  • Empower parents to use the language of the home to stimulate their child’s language learning
  • Describe support and accommodations children with cochlear implants and hearing aids need at school
  • Review resources available from organizations and cochlear implant companies

Cost: $95

CEUs: To be provided from ASHA, American Academy of Audiology, AG Bell. Supporting documentation will allow attendees to submit for Educator or Early Intervention Continuing Education Credits
