To recognize Dr. John K. Niparko’s enduring commitment to cochlear implant research and clinical care and honor his significant contributions to the field, ACI Alliance established a lecture to be given at the annual CI Symposium, a clinical research meeting whose purpose is to open pathways of education and dissemination of research and dialogue between clinicians, scientists and educators.
The John Niparko Lecture:
Selected presenters will present the conference keynote lecture on a topic relating to cochlear implantation
Given Dr. Niparko’s abiding interest in and support of the entire continuum of cochlear implant treatment, selected lecturers may be scientists, physicians, audiologists, therapists, educators, psychologists or others who conduct research or are involved in patient care for adults or children
The John Niparko Memorial Lecture Fund will be administered by the American Cochlear Implant Alliance, which will annually support the travel, honorarium and recognition of each year’s selected John Niparko Memorial Lecturer
Contributions to the fund are welcome. ACI Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by US law.
The mission of the American Cochlear Implant (ACI) Alliance is to advance access to the gift of hearing provided by cochlear implantation through research, advocacy and awareness.
