Founded in the late 1980s, the Univeristy of Cincinnati cochlear implant program is comprised of otolaryngologists, neurotologists, speech pathologists and clinical audiologists working together to provide patient centered medical and clinical care. We have an active cochlear implant recipient support group that meets regularly. Our program works closely as a research study site for all three FDA approved device manufacturers. Our cochlear implant program is spread across 4 campuses: The University of Cincinnati Gardner Neuroscience Institute, University of Cincinnati West Chester, Cincinnati Children’s, and the Cincinnati VA.
