The Rocky Mountain Cochlear Implant Center, led by a dedicated team of experts (David C. Kelsall, M.D., Eric Lupo, M.D. and Allison Biever, Au.D.), offers more experience than any other implant center in the region, having initiated work with implants in 1990. The Rocky Mountain Cochlear Implant Center is a program of the Rocky Mountain Ear Center PC and is on the forefront of cochlear implant education, research, and outreach. As one of the largest centers in the country, the implant center provides a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for adult and pediatric implant recipients. The center provides care for all ages of patients, including the elderly and children as young as 9 months of age. Their active research program is currently enrolling patients for numerous clinical trials, and professionals at the center are regular instructors in international educational programs on surgical techniques, audiological programming, and clinic efficiency.
