The House Children’s Hearing Center provides audiological services including newborn screenings, diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting and maintenance, bone anchored hearing devices, FM system, cochlear implant evaluation and follow-up, auditory verbal therapy and speech therapy for children with hearing loss. The House Children’s Hearing Center works in conjunction with the surgeons and staff at the world-renowned House Clinic as a California Children’s Services approved Cochlear Implant Center. The House Institute Foundation is committed to a team approach to provide the highest quality evaluation and treatment of children with hearing loss.

The House Clinic has been a pioneer in the field of cochlear implants since the 1960s. We implanted the first single channel cochlear implant in 1968 and our first multichannel device in 1985. Our world-class adult cochlear implant program has been built upon years of extensive experience. We provide comprehensive quality care to our patients and we are proud to offer all the current cochlear implant technology and innovations as they become available.
The mission of the American Cochlear Implant (ACI) Alliance is to advance access to the gift of hearing provided by cochlear implantation through research, advocacy and awareness.
