The Michigan Ear Institute Cochlear Implant Program was established in 1986 and was the first center to perform a cochlear implant in Michigan. The Michigan Ear Institute has implanted several thousand children and adults. We have a staff of 9 neurotologists and six of our 18 audiology staff members are cochlear implant audiologists. We implant devices from 3 different cochlear implant manufacturers and we strive to offer excellent patient care to all. We serve the entire state of Michigan as well as neighboring states, and have offices in Farmington Hills (MI), Novi (MI), Royal Oak (MI), and Maumee (OH).
