Our Mission: To restore, sustain and enhance the quality of life and developmental potential of the whole child with hearing loss through a multidisciplinary team approach guided by honesty and integrity and rooted in advanced science and technology.
Rady Children’s Cochlear Implant Program provides state-of-the-art care to children with hearing loss, focusing on each child’s unique needs. While taking medical needs into consideration, we also focus on social, emotional and the developmental needs of the whole child.
Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of professionals across disciplines – from Audiology, Otolaryngology, Speech-Language Pathology, Developmental Psychology, and Educational Consultation. The team approach allows for a comprehensive evaluation of children being considered for cochlear implantation and patients who already have them.
