UChicago Medicine provides full medical and audiological services for infants, children and adults. Comprehensive services for children with hearing loss and their families are provided from time of diagnosis through school years. Highly trained in our fields, our team is made up of surgeons, audiologists, speech pathologists, child life specialists, a social worker, a geneticist, a developmental pediatrician, and listening and spoken language specialists. Working together, we make sure each step of the cochlear implant process is executed well and successfully.
