Since 1993, Northwestern Medicine neurotologists and audiologists have worked together to provide comprehensive evaluation and rehabilitation for adults who may benefit from cochlear implants and associated hearing aids. Northwestern Memorial Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility located in downtown Chicago. Northwestern has excellent relationships with all three cochlear implant manufacturers to be able to match the needs of patients with all currently available devices.
The mission of the American Cochlear Implant (ACI) Alliance is to advance access to the gift of hearing provided by cochlear implantation through research, advocacy and awareness.
