The Cochlear Implant Program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for infants, children, and adolescents with severe to profound hearing loss. The program is led by Nathan Page, MD, a pediatric otolaryngologist specializing in pediatric hearing loss and cochlear implantation. Our team includes pediatric otolaryngologists, audiologists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing who collaborate to support each child’s medical, developmental, and educational needs. From candidacy evaluation through surgery, activation, and long-term programming, we provide coordinated, family-centered care. The program emphasizes early identification, timely implantation, and close partnership with families and community providers to optimize outcomes for children with hearing loss across Arizona.
