Two ACI Alliance members were featured in the first broadcast of NPR’s new series “Breakthrough: Portraits of Women in Science.” Rene Gifford and Allyson Sisler-Dinwiddie participated in the video documentary Breakthrough: a Re-sounding Remedy discussing cochlear implant technology and benefits. This is an important contribution to our efforts to improve public awareness about cochlear implants.
