Amy Robbins honored with Heroes for Hearing Award

ACI Alliance Board Member Amy McConkey Robbins MS, CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert.AVT was recognized on April 20th as this year's winner of the Dr. Richard T. Miyamoto Award Heroes for Hearing for excellence in the field of Listening and Spoken Language.  McConkey Robbins is the author or co-author of several widely-used assessment procedures for children with hearing loss, including the Mr. Potato Head Task, Common Phrases Test, MAIS, and IT-MAIS. She frequently shares her expertise with others via training workshops, conference talks, and articles in professional and parent publications. As a highly respected professional in the field of cochlear implantation, we are proud she serves on the Board of Directors of American Cochlear Implant Alliance.
