In early April, CMS added additional CPT billing codes for audiology and speech language pathology to the public health emergency waiver for telehealth. Included in the expanded list for coverage are CPT code 92626, evaluation of auditory rehabilitation status first hour, and 92627, evaluation of auditory rehabilitation status each additional 15 minutes. These codes are billable throughout the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency and ACI Alliance continue to monitor and support efforts to make these waivers permanent.
