ACI Alliance State Champions in Florida led successful advocacy leading to passage of state CMV screening legislation. Special thanks and recognition to Tina Stern AuD (University of Miami) and Cedric Pritchett MD (Nemours Children's Hospital). The bill will require that children who fail the initial newborn hearing screening be tested for Cytomegalovirus (CMV).
