Board of Directors Nomination Application

We are pleased to announce new opportunities to become a board member for the American Cochlear Implant Alliance (ACI Alliance). This year, we are seeking applications for three board positions: (1) one audiologist; (1) one physician; and (1) one speech-language pathologist, educator, teacher of the deaf, or mental health professional. We encourage nominations for individuals who would have a positive impact on the organization from a leadership standpoint. That individual might be yourself or another person whom you would like to nominate. We welcome and encourage nominations from, or for, any individual who has relevant cochlear implant experience.

Note: if you are nominating someone other than yourself, please obtain relevant information from the person being nominated so all information on form is complete.

Responsibilities of board membership include attending the annual ACI Alliance conference, in-person board meetings, and conference calls. Other responsibilities include contributing to the implementation of the organization’s strategic mission and participating on various board initiatives. All expenses associated with being on the board are the responsibility of the individual.

If you are interested or would like to nominate an individual, please click below to fill out and return the nomination questionnaire no later than March 3, 2025. The Board Nominations Committee will review and discuss the nominations and select individuals to fill the board vacancy. The selected individuals should plan to attend the upcoming CI2025 Boston conference.
