ACI Alliance Connection: A CI Community Blog
Today we are launching a community connection area (i.e., Blog) for the American Cochlear Implant Alliance. This area on our website will facilitate conversations by allowing our leadership and staff to share information and our members to connect with others in the professional, research and consumer communities.
We have a few guidelines:
1. Content must relate in some manner to cochlear implantation including the entire continuum of care, reimbursement, educational concerns for CI children, awareness, and advocacy.
2. The audience for posts may be aimed at the clinical, research or parent/recipient communities.
3. To post, an individual must be a member. Comments on postings are welcome from all (members and non-members).
4. To post a blog entry, please send your submission to info@acialliance.org
5. Content must have a positive purpose in terms of advancing access to cochlear implantation, improving knowledge about the CI intervention, addressing the care of patients, etc.
6. ACI Alliance reserves the right to decide on whether or not to publish. Differences of opinion on various topics are welcome.
7. Initially, we expect that posts will be divided into the following divisions:
- ACI Alliance leadership and staff
- Members
- Conference/Symposium
